London – Leading energy software platform, Kaluza, today announces the appointment of David Espley as its new Chief Technology Officer who will join the business in February from the UK’s number one private investment platform, Hargreaves Lansdown. In his new role, David will oversee the development of Kaluza’s real-time SaaS platform, enabling global energy service providers to transform their customer service and accelerate decarbonisation.

David has over 25 years’ experience in enterprise software having held chief technology and product roles at leading organisations across industries, including BNY Mellon, Lexis Nexis and Radius Payment Solutions. In his most recent role as CTO at FTSE 100 firm Hargreaves Lansdown, David managed product, delivery and technology to create the next generation of fintech tools and services. David brings with him a wealth of specialist SaaS experience in driving multi-million dollar programmes incorporating AI, cloud, lean agile technologies and flexible architectures.
