Leading energy software platform, Kaluza, today announces winning two prestigious National Technology Awards for Innovation and Smart Tech Project of the Year, at a ceremony in London last night.
Judges were impressed by the innovation, speed to scale and customer-centricity of the Kaluza-powered OVO Charge Anytime, a pioneering electric vehicle (EV) plan enjoyed by tens of thousands of OVO customers.
By optimising charging to when energy is more affordable and less carbon intensive, Kaluza enables customers to charge on one of the UK’s lowest energy rates of 7p per kWh at any time of day or night, slashing driving costs to £190 a year. So far, OVO Charge Anytime has saved customers a total of £8 million and 410 tonnes of CO2, equivalent to nearly 23,000 trees.
