Veteran executive to help accelerate US growth in energy software and managed EV charging business
London & Washington, D.C. – Thursday, 21st September 2023 – Kaluza, a leading energy software platform, today announces the appointment of Jonathan Levy in a new role as Managing Director for the United States.
Jonathan brings with him an impressive track record spanning over two decades in the U.S. clean energy sector. He has served as the Chief Commercial Officer at EVgo, one of the country’s largest electric vehicle (EV) charging networks and in senior posts within a clean energy investment firm and the US federal government, including Deputy Chief of Staff at the US Department of Energy. During his tenure at EVgo, Jonathan played a pivotal role in driving the company’s top-line growth and building key relationships with automakers, utilities, white label commercial partners and public policy stakeholders.
Based in Kaluza’s Washington, D.C. office, Jonathan will lead the expansion of operations across the U.S. and support the launch of new smart charging programs with utility and auto OEM partners. Building on over four years’ experience in this space, including the world’s largest domestic V2X trial, Kaluza has already deployed a managed charging program in the Bay Area, creating cost and carbon savings for customers.
